Here we present the construction of our Litterbox short and animate for you to rebuild.

The following materials are needed:

• Baseplate 80 x 50
• Rear wall 80 x 50
• Side part twice per 50 x 50
• Split lid
  • Fixed part 80 x 20
  • Hinged part 80 x 30
• Split Front
  • Narrow board 80 x 15
  • Board with opening 80 x 35

All measurements are, of course, in centimeters, in our whelping box we used solid wood in 19 mm thickness.

Now to building:

• Basically, all the boards are attached to the base plate. Anyone who wants to, can glue everything together, but we screwed everything.
• First, all the boards are cut to the proper size as described in the chart above. The rear wall must be cut narrowly, minus the sidewall strength.
• In the side parts a groove is now introduced with the circular saw. Alternatively, strips may be made in any thickness. -> to keep the two front boards together.
• Deburr all boards with sandpaper and a sanding block, also the surfaces if necessary.
• In the bottom plate, Sidewalls and the fixed part of the lid are placed near the edge of the required holes.
• Drill holes with a countersink best short for deburring both sides or edit. so that the boards can be bolted flush on one side.
• In the large front board the opening is now marked for the cat according to their own imagination and cut out with a jigsaw.
• Also deburring and grinding this passage is important, so that no cathair gets caught in it.
• varnish all boards .
• Assembling.
